Part-Time Intake Specialist (Bi-lingual)

Nashville, TN

Job Responsibilities:

  • Process new intake applications and referrals for The Store.
  • Answer and respond to phone calls, including general inquiries and intake requests.
  • Welcome and check in customers during shopping hours.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of customer, family, and staff information at all times.
  • Perform general office duties such as data entry, report generation, and mail merges.
  • Manage and retrieve data to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Support program staff by coordinating with clinics, providers, and community resources as needed.
  • Assist with translation for Spanish-speaking customers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in data management.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Previous professional or volunteer experience in a nonprofit organization or an administrative role.

Schedule:  Wednesday-Saturday; onsite.

Wednesday (1:00 pm - 6:30 pm), Thursday (10:00 am - 5:30 pm), Friday (8 am - 5:30 pm), Saturday ( 8 am - 3:30 pm)

Physical Requirements:• Ability to stand, sit, type, and view a computer screen for long periods.• Ability to lift a maximum of 30 lbs
